Portal Login/Registration

Existing Clients - Walkthrough

If you have given us your info and/or already had services at any point

  • Open the portal login page - this can also be accessed via www.thepetguardians.co

  • Click the "Set/reset password" link

  • Enter the email you gave us when starting services initially, and click "Reset Password"

  • We will email a security code to you within 4 minutes. Enter this code & click "Set/Reset Password"

  • Enter a new password in each box and click "Set Password"

  • You are now logged in - Bookmark this page for future use.

New Clients - Walkthrough

If you have never communicated with The Pet Guardians

  • Open the Pet Guardians registration page

  • Enter the requested information (Note: The email you enter will be your username)

  • We will email a security code to you within 4 minutes. Enter the code and complete remaining steps

  • You are now logged in - Bookmark this page for future use.

Pay My Invoice

Through the Portal

  • Login to the portal

  • The first page that opens is your account summary:

    • Overdue Payments will show under "Payments Due Now"​

    • Payments due within 3 days will show under "Payments Not Yet Due"

  • Click the  "Pay Now" button under any invoice on the account summary screen to make a payment

    • If you have multiple outstanding invoices and would like to pay all of them at once, scroll down to the bottom, next to "Total Outstanding", click "Pay Now"​

Without Portal Login

Add a payment method

  • Login to the portal

  • Click the "Payment Methods" tab​​​

  • Click "Add or change a payment method"

  • Click "Add a new card"

  • Enter your card details and click "Add Card" to save

Verify your autopayment status at this point by clicking the "Payment Methods" tab again. The checkbox indicates if you would like autopayment on or off.

  • If you would like your invoices set up for autopayment, check the box

  • Click "Update Permission"

Autopayment

  • Login to the portal

  • Click the "Payment Methods" tab​​

    • If you have not yet added a payment method:​

      1. Click  "Add or change a payment method"​

      2. Click  "Add new card" and follow the remaining steps

      3. Once your card has been added, click "Payment Methods

      4. The checkbox indicates if you would like payment to be automatically withdrawn when your invoice generates after your last service for the week.

        1. If you would like auto payment ON, check the box and click "Update Permission"​

        2. If you would like auto payment OFF, uncheck the box and click "Update Permission"

    • If you already have added a payment method:

      • The checkbox indicates if you would like payment to be automatically withdrawn when your invoice generates for the week

        1. If you would like auto payment ON, check the box and click "Update Permission"​

        2. If you would like auto payment OFF, uncheck the box and click "Update Permission"

Schedule Services

  • Login to the portal

  • Open the "Request Services" tab​​

  • Choose your dates

  • Choose your service

  • Choose one 2 hour window for each of those dates (Services at a different time will be added next)

  • Click the green "Add to Cart" button

If you need to add more services at different times or on different days, click "Add Another Service"

When all required services are added, click "Submit Now"

Tips

Tips for outstanding service are never required but always appreciated! 100% of your tips goes directly to your sitter(s) for the week, unless specified otherwise.

There are 3 ways you can tip your sitters through our system:

​

  • When an invoice is due, on your "Account Summary" page of the portal, you will see an "Add Tip" button. Click this and specify the amount, and leave a note if you have a specific sitter or sitters you would like to tip.

  • If an invoice is not due, navigate to www.thepetguardians.co, and scroll to the very bottom of your screen. Click the yellow icon under "Pay with invoice #".  Enter the information requested, and select "Leave a tip for my sitter/groomer" in the dropdown box. Fill out the remaining information and submit.

  • Reach out to us at 518-468-3776, and request a tip percentage or amount be added to your invoice. This will be reflected on your next invoice.
