What to expect...
From your Pet Guardians services & experience!
Scheduling • Billing • Service Reports & more!
The Basics
The Pet Guardians and it's services (primarily) are "mobile" - meaning we come to you/your pets and provide the services you need! Whether it is a straightforward pet visit, an adventure walk, a pet taxi - If your pets are home, then we will come to your home to provide your services (and if they are somewhere else, then we will come there!) There are exceptions to this - boarding for example is a service that takes place in the caretakers home - We will touch on that further down the page!

Each and every client we service has met with our Owner/Management team, in person, at no charge! This meet & greet allows you to meet us, for us and your pets to meet each other, and allows some time for you to see how we interact with your pets, ask any questions you may have, show us your routine and where we can find any relevant items (food, puppy pads, leashes, etc.)
We take copious notes throughout our meeting, and by the end we will know exactly how you would like your animals cared for. These notes are uploaded to your profile, where our team will find them when it is time for your visits. There is a spot for you to add notes yourself, if you prefer to lay everything out that way. We may paraphrase for our team, but all relevant info will be there one way or another when your service dates arrive.

The meet & greet is a mandatory and very important step in beginning our relationship with you and your furry family members. It helps establish trust and comfort between you and our team, it allows you to get an idea of our standard of care, to see us interact with your pets, and it gives us time to meticulously build a care plan, at your direction. Services are personalized to you and your pets' needs, every time!
Meet & Greet
Your Online Portal
Your account and service with The Pet Guardians come with a convenient, easy to use online portal where you will have the ability to view your service reports (reports we send after each service - see below for more details), view invoices, pay your invoice, request services, change or cancel existing service requests and so much more!
The admin team typically will ask that you set up your portal account as the first step before we schedule your meet & greet, and we are happy to assist with that if necessary. As mentioned previously, the meet & greet is a great time to ask any questions you may have about the Portal and it's use.
Service Reports
Primary services like walks, overnights, boarding will be closed out with a service report. This is a summary of the service that includes notes written by your pets' caretaker, pictures, details about feeding and potty time, and anything else relevant to the service that took place.

We pride ourselves on providing more than just a body to take your dog for a walk, or someone to feed and play with your cat. We LEARN about your animals with each service, we get to know their personality, their quirks, their behavior, their habits - We get to know them on a deeper level. And when your pet is not feeling their best, we will notice!

When your report is sent to you, it can be read in the portal or in your email, as we send a copy to the email address on file. We have the ability to CC each report to someone else if you would like as well!
Invoices & Billing
The Pet Guardians' weekly service periods begin on Monday at 7:00am, and ends Sunday evening. We invoice weekly, after your final service is completed, or in the case of overnight services, we may send your invoice after your final service for the week has begun.

We offer payment via credit card through your online portal, and you have the option to opt-in to auto payment to simplify your pet's service routine. The majority of our clients utilize the auto payment service, which can be deactivated at any time.
